I was inspired by one of my favourite films Goodfellas to recreate the iconic “Funny how?” scene, but with a pepperoni pizza twist. Even as a slice of pizza Joe Pesci still oozes out tension and gives me the jitters.

I wanted to replicate Tommy’s fine mafia suit, especially that long pointy shirt collar!
TOMMY CHARACTER RIG
I designed the characters and scene in Photoshop. Then used Duik Bassel to build the character rigs and Joysticks 'N Sliders for the face turn. The scene was animated in After Effects and edited in Premiere Pro.
