The legendary Billy Connolly shared his unique wit and wisdom in a heartfelt interview with Will Gompertz. It was such a pleasure to be responsible for designing and animating the titles, along with editing the 30 minute programme for BBC2.
“I’m very artsy.”
During the interview Billy talks about how he has become an accidental artist and how much he loves drawing. As he discusses his art, with a big smile across his face, it’s clear that it brings him a lot of joy. This revelation combined with the work he shows inspired the title design. I wanted it to have a sketch like quality and have his portrait be drawn on screen to reflect his love of drawing.
